Lubricants

Lubricants help reduce friction, and make sex more pleasurable for you and your partner. Lubricants generally fall into one of three categories: water, silicone or oil-based. Waterbased, while not as slick or long-lasting as silicone or oil-based is safe to use with condoms and toys and is also very easy to clean (they are absorbed by the body). Silicone-based is great if you have sensitive skin as it is hypoallergenic, is silky smooth and doesn’t need to be reapplied too often. Silicone-based can work with condoms (if specified as condom-safe) but won’t work with silicone toys (as it causes the material to break-down). Oil based is the slickest of them all but won’t work with condoms or toys. We only stock lubricants that are paraben, glycerin and petroleum free to minimise the risk of infections.
